Final Project - Jingle [Small Groups]
You have been hired by a new local restaurant to promote their business. You have a couple of goals:
- Create a catchy name for the restaurant. They serve a mix of popular dishes from different cultures.
- Write a memorable slogan, a short phrase that expresses the main idea of the business.
- Design a 30 second radio commercial promoting the restaurant. The commercial must include ALL of the following:
- Music you created in Reaper. You must use at least one midi instrument.
- Sound effects from both Audioblocks and recorded by you. Edit the audio in some way using Audacity.
- Narration written and recorded by your group.
- It is intended to appeal to people your age.
Rules
- All content in the ad must be your original idea and work (besides using Audioblocks clips). You may not use real business names, slogans, or professional music in your project.
- Every person in the group should be assigned a specific major role in creating the project. Write down the responsibilities before starting.
- All recording outside of the classroom requires a detailed, written description of the audio to be recorded and approval by the instructor.
- Document the process of creation by taking occassional screenshots of your progress at important steps.
Illustrator
After finishing and turning in your audio projects, you should watch the following videos on Adobe Illustrator. While watching, follow along and create the same product as the video.
